Finally- a blog!

Well, the truth is that I have ALWAYS wanted to start a blog! I never did it because I never felt like our life was ever really exciting enough to not just write about, but expect people to read about. But, a new day has arrived and excitement is just around the corner! When Billy and I started to pursue this international teaching thing, I told him that if we got a job- I was finally going to start a blog. And, we did! We will be moving to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 4 1/2 months- WOW! We accepted teaching jobs at the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL). We are thrilled and looking forward to this new adventure. My hope is that this blog will really serve as a connection between us and our friends and family at home. I think the hardest thing for me to swallow when deciding to teach internationally was that I would not be able to talk regularly with the people I love. This blog is my small way of helping that situation. Maybe I can even get my Nanaw to figure out how to blog (how awesome would that be!?!) :) Anywho- I can't promise that the posts will always be exciting or worthwhile, but they will be my "phone calls" home. I am thrilled that this blog will allow me to take all of you along on this amazing journey that lies ahead in the life of the Thomas family! Love you all!
